Migrate from beehiiv

Peakub has a free built-in migration tool for beehiiv. Unlike some other platforms, beehiiv doesn't expose anything publicly - we read your posts and subscribers directly through beehiiv's API, so you'll need to bring an API key and Publication ID before we can see anything at all.

What you'll need

Nothing is discovered automatically just from your beehiiv URL - beehiiv requires credentials from the start. You'll need:

• Your API key
• Your Publication ID (starts with pub_)

Both are found in the same place: beehiiv Settings > Integrations > API.

What comes across

Once your credentials are in, we read your posts and subscribers directly through beehiiv's API - no export file needed. Nothing is published on Peakub until you confirm it.

Import steps

1. Start a new publication on Peakub and choose to migrate.
2. Paste your beehiiv publication's URL - we detect beehiiv automatically.
3. Enter your API key and Publication ID from the step above.
4. We start pulling in your posts and subscribers. Watch progress from your publication's Studio.

Known limitations

Your API key is only ever used to read your posts and subscribers - we never publish anything without your say-so, and nothing else in your beehiiv account is touched.
