Migrate from Steady

Peakub has a free built-in migration tool for Steady. Like beehiiv, Steady doesn't expose anything publicly - we read your posts and subscribers directly through Steady's API, so you'll need to bring an API key before we can see anything at all.

What you'll need

Nothing is discovered automatically just from your Steady URL - Steady requires a credential from the start. You'll need:

• Your API key, from Steady backend > Project Settings > Integration > API.

What comes across

Once your key is in, we read your posts and subscribers directly through Steady's API - no export file needed. Nothing is published on Peakub until you confirm it.

Import steps

1. Start a new publication on Peakub and choose to migrate.
2. Paste your Steady publication's URL - we detect Steady automatically.
3. Enter your API key from the step above.
4. We start pulling in your posts and subscribers. Watch progress from your publication's Studio.

Known limitations

Your API key is only ever used to read your posts and subscribers - we never publish anything without your say-so, and nothing else in your Steady account is touched.
