Follow a Peakub account from the fediverse

Some people and publications on Peakub are also on the fediverse, the network of servers that includes Mastodon and Threads. If one of them shares their address, you can follow it from your own account there, with no Peakub account and no email.

Follow

Search the address in your app, for example @alice@peakub.com for a person or @notabene@notabene.peakub.com for a publication. Choose Follow. The follow is accepted at once.

What they publish then shows in your feed: an article as its title, a teaser, its cover and a link back to Peakub, a post as a short message. Only free articles are shown in full; a paid one is a summary and a link. A publication shares what its authors publish in it.

Reply

Reply, like or boost from your app. Your reply appears as a comment under the piece on Peakub, with your name, your address and a small Fediverse mark linking to your profile. The publication may hold fediverse replies for approval before they show.

If you delete your reply on your server, it is removed from Peakub as well.

Stop

Unfollow in your app. The people and publications you follow can also remove you as a follower or block your account or your server.
